About Strategy2Life

Strategy2Life is the registered trading name of CJ Owen & Associates Pty Ltd, an Australian company established in 1999.  Our consulting principal is Stephanie Owen. We currently operate exclusively in Sydney, Australia.

Instead of pretending to be big, Strategy2Life makes a virtue of being small, flexible, and transparent. There are no frills, and no senior partners making the sale and junior consultants doing the work.  You get the dedicated focus and consulting skills of big-name consulting houses for a fraction of the price.

We have been operating successfully for many years based on a track record of delivering results, and an almost complete reliance on referral and repeat business from impressed colleagues and satisfied clients.

We use the “royal we” because Strategy2Life has a network of high calibre, trusted alliance partners – all of whom share Stephanie’s passion for excellence and most share Stephanie’s big consulting firm background.

About Stephanie Owen

Stephanie Owen has been a management consultant since 1994.  Prior to joining Strategy2Life in 2003, she has worked as an IT consultant at Deloitte Consulting, and later as an internal consultant at AMP, where she has teamed with, and learned from, consultants and ex-consultants from other major firms including Accenture, AT Kearney, BCG, Booz-Allen Hamilton, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PwC.  Her consulting career was preceded by several years at IBM in account management and in-house IS roles.

Stephanie has a proven ability to execute strategy and lead change in multiple industries, functions, and subject areas.  Client organisations she has served include those in the public sector (State and Federal), financial services, information technology and telecommunications, consulting, and business services.

Stephanie’s experience combines the professionalism, rigour and discipline that is usually associated with large consulting firms, with the pragmatism and focus on stakeholder relationships more typical of in-house staff.

The key capabilities that she brings to all her assignments are the ability to enable change through managing complex stakeholder groups and bringing people into alignment, and the ability to translate ambiguous concepts and ideas into something that is tangible, structured, and actionable.

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Economics with double majors in Economics and Computer Science from Sydney University.  She has an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) where she graduated at the top of her class. For several years, she served as adjunct faculty at MGSM as the sole lecturer in the “Management Consulting” subject.  She is also an internationally certified Program Manager as an MSP Advanced Practitioner.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and playing music. One of her favourite pastimes is to play the harmonica with a gospel music group. She is also active in community sports, as the manager for a local junior football team.
