Strategy2Life’s Principal and Executive Director (Consulting) is Stephanie Owen.

Strategy, Transformation, Innovation and Risk are the constant themes in Stephanie’s varied career as an Executive, Consultant and Program Manager in multiple industries. Having begun her career in IBM in account management, application development and program office, Stephanie gained further experience at Deloitte Consulting working in IT strategic advisory and project management, specialising in ERP implementation and workflow management systems. In the late 1990s, Stephanie was approached to join AMP as part of the startup team to establish  enterprise-wide risk management across the organisation, where she specialised in managing risks in large IT projects and online business operations. The latter included a 6-month assignment to work with an Accenture Strategy team based in San Francisco.

Since leading Strategy2Life in 2003, Stephanie has delivered Consulting, Interim Executive and Program Management assignments – mostly working with teams of various sizes partnering with client staff and partners, and occasionally delivering strategic consulting work solo. After 15 years with Strategy2Life, in 2018 Stephanie was approached to join St Vincent’s Health Australia, the nation’s third-largest non-government healthcare group, as an IT executive reporting to the Group CIO. She had group-wide responsibility for the areas of cybersecurity and technology risk, data analytics and governance, and strategy and architecture. In this digital leadership role, Stephanie delivered significant capability uplift for this iconic provider of private and public hospital, aged care and medical research services.

Stephanie recently returned to Strategy2Life in late 2020 and have delivered a number of strategic assignments in education, aged care and human services as she continues to help transform sectors that serve the community.

Stephanie has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie University’s Graduate School of Management where she graduated at the top of her class and won the Allen Knott Scholar Medal, the GMAA Award for Academic Achievement, and the AC Nielsen Marketing Award.
